Hello! I am Connie Simpson and this is my fourth year to be teaching second grade at Sequoyah. I taught 9 years in Memphis before staying at home to raise my four sons. They now range in age from 16 to 22. My oldest is a senior at UT this year. I have twins that are juniors at Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, TN, which is where I got my undergraduate degree. My youngest son is a junior at West High School. Some of you may already know him since he has been a lifeguard at the Peninsula Club for the past two summers.

I have been happily married to my husband Bobby for almost 26 years. Bobby and I met while I was getting my Master's Degree in Counseling in Memphis. I have loved having the opportunity to be back in the classroom and am looking forward to another great year.
